Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-07-06
These terms apply when you use PortRobin. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. We've kept them straightforward. If you have questions, email hello@portrobin.com.
The service
PortRobin is an AI customs & import-duty engine, provided by PortRobin. It includes a free plan and paid Pro and Business plans. We may add, change or remove features over time to improve the product.
Classifications, duty rates and landed-cost totals reflect facts we could verify from the USITC HTS, CBP or USTR at the time we checked, cited with a source and a verification date. They are an informational estimate for planning — not a customs ruling, not legal or compliance advice, and not a substitute for your own diligence. Tariffs and lists change frequently and some 2025–26 measures are subject to active litigation.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Let us know straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
Use the service lawfully and reasonably. Don't use it to break the law, infringe others' rights, send spam, or attempt to disrupt, attack or reverse-engineer the service. API access is subject to the rate limits of your plan.
You're responsible for the content and data you put into the service, including your saved products, notes and team invitations.
Plans and payment
The free plan is free for as long as you use it within its intended scope. Pro and Business are billed monthly at the prices shown on our pricing page. There are no per-seat fees on Pro and no hidden add-ons on Business.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; when you do, you keep access until the end of the current billing period, then drop to the free plan.
Payments are handled by our payment processor. Fees charged by your card network or bank are separate from our prices.
Your data
The workspace data you create (your saved products, watches, team members and notes) belongs to you. We store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export or delete your data, and you can close your account at any time.
Not a customs ruling
PortRobin helps you research and plan your import-duty decisions; it does not provide legal, customs or compliance advice, and nothing it returns is a binding classification. The binding classification of a good is CBP's. For a decision you can rely on — especially for a real customs entry — confirm the current rate against the official HTS and CBP, and consult a licensed customs broker or request a binding CBP ruling before relying on anything shown here.
Availability
We work hard to keep the service running, but we can't promise it will always be available without interruption. We may carry out maintenance, and occasionally things go wrong. We'll do our best to minimise disruption.
Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't give warranties beyond those required by law, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, and we'll give notice where it's reasonable to do so.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
